Gold Coast Disability Networking Event Recap – Wrapping Up 2025
Our final networking event of the year was a good one — packed with solid information, honest conversations, and, as always, a few tangents that meant we ran out of time far too quickly. That’s usually a good sign. It means the room is engaged, people feel comfortable speaking openly, and the conversations are actually useful. Personally, I prefer this as I think it is when we actually get to meet the person behind the elevator pitch.
A huge thank you needs to go right up front to Kiersten Jerrett from Atlas Therapy and Coaching, who has been incredibly generous in allowing us to use her space over the past few months. Unfortunately, due to schedule conflicts, we are unable to continue at this venue on Tuesdays. The good news is that we’ll be continuing every 2nd month closeby and still in Helensvale at ARRC , with full details to be shared via Eventbrite and our usual channels.
Atlas Therapy and Coaching – Kiersten Jerrett
Kiersten runs Atlas Therapy and Coaching, offering play therapy, behaviour support, and parent coaching. Her work is grounded in relationship-based, trauma-informed practice, with a strong focus on helping children and families feel supported, understood, and empowered. Atlas Therapy supports emotional regulation, behaviour understanding, and skill development by looking at the why behind behaviour — not just the behaviour itself.

These event blogs exist for a simple reason: to make it easier to reconnect. Business cards get lost, names blur together, but if you remember the event, this gives you a place to find the people you met.
Thanks again to everyone who came along, contributed, and shared in our Gold Coast disability networking event. We’re looking forward to picking things back up in the new year at our new venue and continuing to build strong, local connections across the community.
