🏖️ School Holiday Program Info

I’m doing things a bit differently this year for the holiday program.

Instead of locking everything in advance, each week the guys will vote on the following week’s activities. Parents can still step in with non-negotiables (e.g. “Yes, he will be going on the hike”) and that will trump the vote for your young person.

My aim is to keep things as outdoor and active as possible. If the weather isn’t playing nice, we may swap to something like bowling or possibly a movie day (as long as everyone can agree on a movie!).

One big reason for this change is numbers: last time we ended up with some days where only one participant was booked in – which meant they were stuck with just me (lol) and it kind of defeated the whole point of a peer social group.

Unfortunately, Jummps has closed down, so that’s out of the rotation. I’ll be trying to choose as many activities as possible that either:

• use existing yearly passes, or

• have no out-of-pocket costs

Bounce is still a crowd favourite, so it will likely stay in the mix.

👉 If your young person doesn’t have an aqua park or theme park pass, please let me know. They’re usually worth getting, and I’ll do my best to make sure you collectively get your money’s worth over the holidays.

Our holiday program is packed with fun, variety, and social connection.

Activities and dates are subject to change depending on interest and availability, so:

• If there’s something specific your young person would love to do, please tell me.

• If you know of any cool events running during the holidays, feel free to flick them through – I don’t always see everything that’s on!

🎢 Theme park days may include any of the major parks (e.g. Dreamworld, Movie World, Wet'n'Wild, Aqua Park), depending on what the group wants and what passes everyone already has.

🎟 For activities that need out-of-pocket payments, I’ll book everyone’s tickets online in advance so we’re all on the same time slot.

I have not included xmas day and fri boxing day is off the list but our usual friday night social will still be on if there is interest
 

Please send any required payment in cash ASAP once I confirm the exact amount. If there’s any excess, I’ll refund it.
